In July of 2015, we opened a new room in our Riverside Guestrooms Building – one building consisting of 4 sleeping rooms. Each room has it’s own private porch with ceiling fan, offering a nice breeze when it’s hot and also keeps those pesky mosquitoes at bay – perfect for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine while you enjoy the view of the Yellowstone River or take in the amazing sunsets and sunrises. The walk-in showers in these rooms are also a prime feature, with built in benches for sitting – and river-rock flooring – feels great on the feet!

The Riverside Guest Rooms are upscale Rooms with a view of the Yellowstone River, with a private patio in front of each room. King bed, desk, small fridge, and coffee pot with coffee and tea. Large bath vanity, walk-in shower with bench and river rock floor. Yellowstone River Lodge also features a large park with tables, chairs, and a fire pit nestled on the bank of the Yellowstone River.

Yellowstone River Lodge Policies (Please Read)

All guests must be registered with the Yellowstone River Lodge per our no-hosting policy. We ask that you request approval from management before inviting anyone to the premises for any activity, including swimming, fishing, etc. This is out of respect for the peaceful setting that our guests stay here to experience.

Reservations made within 14 days must be paid in full at the time of reservation.  A 50% deposit is required on all other reservations with the balance due upon arrival. We recommend that you purchase trip insurance if there is a possibility that you may fail to meet our cancelation policy as this is unfortunately non-negotiable.

All reservations made 48 hours prior to arrival must be confirmed by phone (406-322-8474).

You are responsible for the entire time reserved. Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are based on single/double occupancy. Any unregistered guests or pets will be charged an additional fee. We reserve the right to charge for any excessive cleaning or damage.

Please note: the Yellowstone River is a scenic and wild river, please exercise caution while recreating in or near the river.

Cancellations
Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly! A last-minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space due to our remote location. For these reasons, we uphold a strict cancellation policy. Your deposit, less a 20% processing fee per cabin booked will be happily refunded if the cancellation is made at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Any cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to the reservation date are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for non-arrival or early departure. No-shows or early departures will be charged 100% of the cost for any affected days. Cancellations due to inclement weather or changes in flight schedules are subject to penalties stated above. Re-scheduling a reservation will result in a $50.00 change fee regardless of the reason for rescheduling.

Note: You cannot cancel a reservation online. Cancellations must be made directly at 406-322-8474 or via email at yrlmontana@gmail.com.

All guides are required to check in upon arrival. A take-out fee will apply for any guided river activity.

An additional charge of $400.00 will be charged for any guests smoking in the rooms.

“Hidden gem! Loved this place’s upscale accommodations with breathtaking views of the river. Great place to stay caught fish too! Bonus!!!”

Debbie E.

Great place off the beaten path. If you’re looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle, then this is it. Clean, comfy, and quiet. A great place with great owners.

“From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely husband and wife who own these cabins. The cabins were adorable. Every detail was exceptional. The lodge had the most beautiful woodwork I’ve ever seen. Why would anyone want to go to a hotel when you could wake up, sit on a beautiful porch and watch the sun rise over the yellow stone river! I would definitely come back here for a longer visit. I highly recommend coming for a visit you will be pleasantly surprised.”

“The place is very clean and well kept. The location is excellent and right by the Yellowstone River. We will definitely go again.”
